Holly Hunter is an American producer and actress who has been recognized for her highly laudable performance in films like Broadcast News The Firm The Piano and The Incredibles. Holly Hunter was awarded numerous prizes and awards, among them her first Oscar for her film Piano. Actresses have an extensive experience of performing on Broadway off-Broadway, Broadway and various productions. Acting has always been her passion. When she was in fifth grade, she played Helen Keller in an original play. As a result of having Mumps, she was blind on the other side of her ear. But, it didn't stop her from pursuing her dream to be an actress. She studied drama at college before moving to Pittsburgh and moved to New York City to follow her dream. Hunter was stuck in the lift of playwright Beth Henley when she met her. Together they created Broadway Crimes of the Heart in which Hunter made her Broadway debut. As she relocated into Los Angeles, Hunter tried to land movie roles. A supporting role was securing for her in Swing Shift. For the past 30 years Holly Hunter has been on various TV series and movies. Holly Hunter has a Hollywood Walk of Fame star and was awarded the Women in Film Lucy Award.
